Provide reception cover, welcoming patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and confidential manner Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls, ensuring excellent customer service and appropriate signposting of patient enquiries Process patient registrations, updates, and record maintenance accurately on the clinical system Support the management of community and hospital referrals, including eRS referrals Invite and recall patients for routine health checks, reviews, and appointments Assist with private work, including insurance forms and private medical reports Triage and process eConsults in accordance with practice procedures Respond to patient queries and support the management of complaints in a professional and sensitive manner Liaise with external organisations and suppliers, including hospitals, community services, IT help desks, and stock providers Maintain petty cash and assist with basic financial administration Support the management team with administrative tasks as required Use clinical and communication systems such as SystmOne and AccuRx Carry out general administrative and clerical duties, including scanning, filing, document management, and maintaining office inventory Assist with any additional administrative tasks required to support the smooth running of the practice
