As part of our Operations team, youll play a key role in supporting our mission to create a circular, secure, and sustainable IT economy. What youll do: Receive and sort incoming IT equipment Record item details accurately in our systems Organise materials into the correct processing or recycling streams Carry out secure data wiping (full training provided) Test, audit, and grade IT equipment for reuse or resale Carry out basic repairs or upgrades where appropriate Prepare customer orders through picking, staging and packing Support project work on-site and occasionally at customer locations Follow company processes to maintain accuracy, safety, and data protection Participate in training and continuous improvement activities Why join Vyta? Essential Criteria 1. Experience working in a warehouse, production, or other hands-on environment (around 6 months or more) 2. Ability to read instructions and follow processes in English 3. Ability to record information accurately (numeracy) 4. Comfort using a computer for basic data entry 5. Ability to follow processes accurately with strong attention to detail 6. Comfortable using basic computer applications such as Word and Excel 7. Good communication and numeracy skills - gained through work experience or education 8. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well in a team 9. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workspace Desirable Criteria 1. GCSEs in English/Maths or equivalent experience are helpful but not essential 2. Interest in working with IT equipment such as computers or laptops 3. Experience with warehouse systems or equipment 4. NVQ in Warehousing or similar qualification 5. Background in quality checking, testing, or basic repairs 6.
