Pubity Brand Lead

Overview
We are looking for a Brand Lead to take full ownership of Pubity’s social strategy, audience growth, and editorial direction.
This role suits someone stepping up from a Senior Social Media Manager, Editorial Manager, or Brand Manager position who has proven they can grow large audiences, lead content teams, and set creative vision across multiple platforms.
You will drive both the daily and long term content strategy, balancing editorial instinct with performance insight. You will lead the conversation on what we post, why it matters, and how it moves our mission forward to make the internet a positive place.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead Brand Level Content Strategy
* Own the end to end content and publishing plan for Pubity, ensuring every piece of content has clear purpose, tone, and audience intent.
* Shape content pillars, recurring formats, and tentpole moments that reinforce Pubity’s positioning as the front page of the internet.
* Evolve the brand voice and content direction to stay ahead of culture and audience expectations.
2. Drive Audience Growth and Platform Leadership
* Use dashboards and performance insights to guide posting strategy, identify growth opportunities, and set daily targets.
* Maintain publishing cadence across all major social platforms, optimising for reach, engagement, and retention.
* Keep Pubity ahead of cultural trends, breaking moments, and platform innovations.
3. Guide the Editorial Team
* Translate strategic direction into actionable briefs and daily workflow.
* Partner with editors, freelancers, and social operations to deliver high volume, high quality output.
* Champion the Pubity tone of voice.
4. Build Brand Cohesion and Collaboration
* Work with the Social Operations Lead and Studio team to embed design, motion, and brand consistency.
* Collaborate with the Commercial team on sellable formats and branded content opportunities.
* Align with other Pubity Group brands to ensure cohesive cross network collaboration.
5. Measure and Report Performance
* Track brand health through engagement, sentiment, and follower growth dashboards.
* Present insights and learnings to leadership, highlighting what is working, what is next, and where to invest.
What You Bring
* Minimum 5 years of experience in social media or brand content leadership roles.
* Proven record of audience growth and creative success across multiple social platforms.
* Strong instincts for cultural relevance, storytelling, and tone.
* Ability to brief, guide, and elevate a creative team.
* Confidence interpreting analytics to inform creative decisions.
* Comfortable in a fast paced, high volume environment.
* Deep understanding of platform nuance and emerging digital culture.
Bonus Points
* Experience leading or launching multi million follower brands or entertainment channels.
* Background in developing or maintaining content playbooks and editorial frameworks.
* Understanding of both UK and US social culture.
* Familiarity with tools such as Monday.com, Make.com, Power BI, or other workflow and insights systems.
* Interest in using AI tools for research, ideation, or workflow optimisation.
