The Royal Veterinary College (RVC), University of London, is seeking to appoint a Pay & Pensions Coordinator to support the delivery of accurate and timely payroll, pensions, and associated HR administration services.
Reporting to the Pay & Pensions Manager, you will function as a key point of contact for staff, managers, and external providers, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and best practice. The post holder will contribute to the effective operation of payroll and pension administration, whilst also supporting wider HR activities.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the end-to-end payroll process, including input, checking, and validation of data.
2. Administering the College’s pension schemes, including auto-enrolment processes and contribution reporting.
3. Responding to pay and pensions queries from staff in a timely and professional manner.
4. Assisting with employment lifecycle administration such as starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
5. Producing reports and statutory returns relating to payroll and pensions.
6. Ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
7. Previous experience of working within payroll and/or pensions administration.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing data.
9. Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
10. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
11. Experience of using HR or payroll systems (iTrent) is desirable.
