Our client, a leading company in the HVAC/R industry, is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Service Manager to oversee their service operations UK wide. They have a strong reputation in the HVAC/R industry and known for their expertise in providing high-quality refrigeration services to commercial clients.

As the Refrigeration Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service team, including planning and scheduling maintenance visits, responding to emergency callouts, and overseeing the commissioning of new refrigeration systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company delivers high-quality, efficient, and compliant refrigeration services to its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of service engineers and technicians, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and coaching
* Plan and schedule reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance visits
* Ensure timely response to emergency callouts and breakdowns
* Oversee the commissioning of new refrigeration systems
* Review engineer reports and support troubleshooting of complex technical issues
* Monitor and improve the profitability of the service department, preparing quotes and contracts as needed
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, conducting meetings and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Who Theyre Looking for:
* Proven experience as a supervisor or service manager in the HVAC/R industry (minimum 5 years)
* Strong technical knowledge of heavy commercial refrigeration systems (CO2, HFCs, glycol)
* F-Gas certification (Category 1) and understanding of regulatory compliance
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* IT proficiency, commercial awareness, and budgeting skills
* Full UK driving licence
