Operations Manager
Located in our Cheltenham offices, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the Construction and Installation of replacement conservatories, new build conservatories and all construction works.
You will be responsible for managing a smooth, professional, and efficient delivery of our projects to our clients, dealing with site issues, building control, ordering of materials, dealing with our teams and external contractors, helping build and maintain relationships with both domestic and businesses clients.
Experience in the conservatory industry and general building knowledge is essential; this is an office-based role that will require some site visits when issues arise or for handovers.
Role responsibilities – Subject to Experience:
· Manage and coordinate multiple Installation and Construction teams
· Oversee project delivery from pre-installation checks to completion
· Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality and H&S compliance
· Act as a main point of contact for clients and site teams
· Handle any onsite issues and ensure customer satisfaction
· Work closely with internal teams to manage resources and materials
· Undertake detailed remedial lists & arrange for these works to be completed promptly
· To manage and continually reduce the debtors list to ensure invoices are paid on time
· To manage the resolution of after sales service calls promptly and efficiently
· To drive the work schedule to increase efficiency and capacity
· To ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality
· Undertake project management duties to meet customer requirements and construction schedules
· Assisting in the new business premises vision and show room
· Bringing in innovative ideas
Candidates' Skills & Experience:
· Strong experience managing multiple installation teams within the high-end domestic Window & Door sector
· Solid knowledge of Window & Door installation processes
· Excellent leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
· Proven project management skills managing new customer contracts from start to finish
· Relevant experience in design CAD & CRM programs
· Forecasting turnover to meet targets
· Experience working within Conservation areas or planning sensitive contexts
· Identifying ways to increase efficiency and improve productivity
Full UK driving licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
