The Role
We are seeking a qualified Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a varied role suited to someone who is comfortable working across multiple areas of practice and managing a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients
* Corporation tax returns
* Self-assessment tax returns
* VAT returns
* General bookkeeping duties
* Supporting practice administration, compliance, and client record maintenance
* Liaising with clients to gather information and provide support
Requirements
* AAT qualified (or higher qualification such as ACCA/ACA)
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong knowledge of accounting systems and software
* Good understanding of UK tax and compliance requirements
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills
