Ready to help build a better future for generations to come?

In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions.

Join us and make a difference!

Role Summary:

Are you a numbers whiz with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for making real impact? At ROCKWOOL, we’re on the lookout for a Finance Analyst who’s ready to dive into the heart of our operations and help shape smarter, leaner, more efficient production strategies.

This isn’t just any finance role. You’ll be at the intersection of data, production, supply chain and strategy, driving insights that influence big decisions across the business — from cost savings to investment planning. If you're curious, analytical, and love turning numbers into meaningful actions, we want to meet you.

Location: This position is based at our offices in Pencoed, Bridgend.

Your Future Team:

You’ll report to our Head of Business Controlling and work closely with departments like Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to turn financial data into actionable insights. You’ll also have regular exposure to our Senior Management Team, presenting your findings and contributing to high-impact decisions.

What you will be doing:

1. Analysing production costs, including direct labour, direct materials and overheads to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for cost improvements
2. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information to trial balance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
3. Collaborating with the operations teams to propose and evaluate opportunities for cost saving initiatives and efficiency improvements across production
4. Tracking and monitoring capital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with budget and strategic goals
5. Participating in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for manufacturing costs and operational expenses
6. Supporting the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and analysing inventory and cost of goods sold
7. Playing an active role in the upcoming ERP system upgrade, ensuring financial processes and reporting needs are effectively integrated

What you bring:

8. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
9. A strong analytical mindset and love for numbers
10. A proactive attitude and clear communicator, especially when turning data into narratives
11. Experience with Excel or data tools — and curiosity for systems like ERP
12. Solid understanding of finance, accounting, or business operations (experience in a manufacturing environment = a bonus)

What we offer:

13. Competitive Salary
14. 30 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
15. Company Pension Scheme (Aviva)
16. Westfield Health Cashback Scheme
17. Life Assurance 4x annual salary
18. Enhanced Sick Pay Scheme
