Cyber Recovery Business AnalystNewcastle / Hybrid6 monthsUp to £450 INSIDEMy Client is looking for a passionate Business Analyst to join the team and support the implementation of a range of business and IT projects, with a focus on supporting a strategic investment in organisations' 1Cyber recovery capabilities on an interim basis.Cyber Recovery Role Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage cyber recovery strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure rapid restoration of critical data and systems following cyber incidents.
2. Own tactical and longer-term programme actions as required by the Cyber Recovery programme manager.
3. Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify essential data, applications, and infrastructure requiring cyber recovery protection.
4. Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop cyber recovery runbooks.
5. Support the review of existing and potential third-party contracts for alignment with the Cyber recovery requirements as defined during Business Impact assessments.
6. Support in the planning and delivery of cyber recovery simulations and tabletop exercises.
7. Document recovery actions, lessons learnt and rmend enhancements to strengthen organisational resilience.
Team Key Responsibilities
8. Guide stakeholders on defining project objectives and problem statements
9. Work closely with project managers to define scope
10. Capture requirements for a variety of projects, from system enhancements toponents ofplex business transformational projects
11. Collaborate with a variety of business teams to understand the crux of their function, understanding the oues they aspire to achieve and why
12. Model business processes to identify issues or gaps, and facilitate their re-design by users
13. Map current state and future state business processes
14. Liaise with IT teams to make sure that proposed solutions take account of technical and resourcing constraints.
15. Build solid relationships with stakeholders at all levels
16. Prepare and deliver presentations to the business and IT on proposed solutions
17. Facilitate workshops with business and IT
Key Skills and Experience
18. Experience in a business analyst/similar role working in a technical environment
19. Strong and articulatemunication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders
20. Good problem solver with a logical and methodical approach
21. Experience in large scale IT projects including systems integration and Cyber Recovery
22. Understanding of project management methodologies, architectural frameworks and key ITIL disciplines
23. Experience with business process design and notation tools such as BPMN or UML
24. Sound knowledge of cloudputing and its keyponents
25. Experience in a legal or professional services practice (desirable)
