Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
* Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety and hygiene standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering assistance as needed.
* Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service.
* Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Experience
* experience required in a café or food service environment
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
* Strong time management skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
* A friendly disposition with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
