Electrical Authorised Person Thetford 12 months 1st Step Solutions are supporting a leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor who looking for an Electrical Authorised Person to join their team on a project in Thetford. Due to the nature of the project, you will be required to be vetted for Security Clearance so a clear criminal background will be required to successfully pass security. Duties: - Management of electrical sub-contractor, planning works and provide reports on tasks undertaken. - Switching of LV switchgear and the migration of cabling from old to new equipment. - Organise and execute LV switching, isolation, earthing, identification of the point of work and issue of safety documentation duties on LV networks in accordance with Electrical Safety Rules. - Diversion of services to allow construction works. - Scheduled checks and maintenance actions on electrical equipment. - Managing contract works where necessary and providing reports. - Issuing electrical safety documentation where necessary. - Electrical testing and commissioning activities. - Supervise works where necessary. - Implement the relevant requirements of the Safety, Quality, Environmental and Operational within the areas of responsibility. - Liaise with colleagues and supervisors on timeframe and labour requirement. - Ensure all paperwork is completed as required. - Ensure Outlook calendar is kept up to date. - Reporting on a daily basis with site issues or prog...
