Overview
We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider with specialist mental health services. Our homes are established to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs, offering a range of educational, recreational and social activities within thriving communities.
Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care to adults
* Support service users using a person-centred approach
* Engage and interact with service users, maintaining good written and verbal communication
* Remain calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team
* Assist in delivering activities and care plans as directed to meet individual needs
* Measuring outcomes for individuals using our person-centred outcome-measuring tool
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience with autism and learning disabilities preferred
* Able to work days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
* Good communication skills
* Ability to keep calm under pressure
* Confidence to work alone and as part of a team
* Passionate about making a positive difference to someone else’s life
* Good written skills

What we do

We carefully develop and adapt homes to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs. The services are located within thriving communities, offering a variety of educational, recreational and social activities.
We provide a positive impact on the service experience of people with mental health difficulties who may be experiencing emotional distress, using a person-centred approach. Our support workers measure outcomes for individuals using our tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement of employment; the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
