The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching to 16–19 learners within a Further Education setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing learner progress, and supporting students to achieve positive outcomes and progression. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging Computing lessons aligned to awarding body specifications Teach across Levels 1–3 (depending on experience) Plan lessons, schemes of work, and assessments Monitor learner progress, attendance, and achievement Provide academic support, feedback, and pastoral guidance Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities Ensure safeguarding, equality, and health & safety standards are upheldSubjects May Include Computer Systems Programming (e.g. Python, Java, C#, or similar) Software Development Cyber Security Networking Data and Digital Technologies IT Fundamentals / Digital SkillsEssential Requirements Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one Subject qualification in Computing, Computer Science, ...
