They are currently looking to hire an experienced Ultrasonic NDT Technician to join their composites inspection team.
Role Overview
As an Ultrasonic NDT Technician, you will be responsible for performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on advanced composite assemblies, ensuring they meet strict aerospace standards and customer acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ultrasonic (UT) testing on composite assemblies and sub-assemblies during both stage and final inspections
Analyse and maintain detailed test records to meet traceability and quality system requirements
Ensure testing equipment and procedures comply with relevant safety guidelines and standards
Support quality and operational teams in driving continuous improvement initiatives
Manage calibration schedules and support audit readiness
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Certified to EN4179 Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant aerospace or composites testing environment
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of composite materials and aerospace manufacturing processes
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
