Private Client Locum Solicitor – Ongoing Assignment | Immediate Start
A well-regarded and busy private client team is seeking an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor to provide interim support. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and self-sufficient locum to join a reputable firm with a consistent and high-quality caseload.
Role Details:
* Position: Private Client Locum Solicitor
* Start Date: ASAP
* Location: Office-based at least 2 days per week (flexibility for more if preferred)
* Duration: Ongoing assignment (with potential for extension)
* Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum of 2 office days; remote flexibility around this)
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a varied private client caseload including:
* Wills
* Probate
* Estate administration
* Powers of Attorney
* Trusts and tax planning (if experienced)
* Independently progressing matters from instruction to conclusion
* Delivering excellent client care and maintaining professional standards
* Using a case management system for efficient file handling and compliance
Requirements:
* A qualified solicitor or legal executive with solid experience in private client law
* Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
* Comfortable working both independently and within a supportive team
* Availability to attend the office at least 2 days per week is essential
* Competent with digital systems and modern case management software
