General Cover Supply Teacher - Northamptonshire Location: Across Northamptonshire (including Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, and Northampton) Start Date: Immediate or January 2026 Contract Type: Flexible (Day-to-Day, Short-Term or Long-Term) Salary: £100 - £125 per day (dependent on experience and assignment) Tradewind Recruitment are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools throughout Northamptonshire. The Role: Delivering pre-prepared lessons across various subjects (no planning or marking required in most cases). Managing classroom behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning environment. Following school policies and ensuring continuity for students in the teacher's absence. Providing brief feedback to cover managers or heads of department when required. Ideal Candidates Will: Hold QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification. Have excellent classroom management and communication skills. Be flexible, reliable, and comfortable adapting to new school environments.
