Our client, a leading investment management firm, are looking for a senior C# Developer to join their tech team on a long-term outside IR35 contract.
You’ll be building and enhancing complex systems that support front-to-back office operations, working in a modern, event-driven architecture. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your code genuinely matters.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing high-performance C#/.NET Core applications
* Working on distributed systems and microservices
* Collaborating across tech and business teams
* Supporting cloud-based and DevOps-first deployments
Tech you'll be using:
* C# / .NET Core
* Kafka / RabbitMQ (or similar messaging frameworks)
* SQL Server
* Azure or AWS
* CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, TeamCity)
* Docker/Kubernetes (nice to have)
What we’re looking for:
* Proven C# expertise in a financial services or trading environment
* Strong understanding of multi-threading & async programming
* Experience with event-driven architecture
* Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
