Overall job purpose
An exciting opportunity to develop a breadth of commercial skills and experience across advisory and formal members voluntary liquidation assignments with the Restructuring National Members Voluntary Liquidation team. You will assist in the delivery of orderly wind downs, corporate reorganisation assignments, and work on members voluntary liquidation appointments across a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring that clients and other interested parties receive a quality service in all respects.
Responsibilities
* Complete assignments in accordance with the Firm’s standard procedures and statutory obligations, confirming arrangements with the client, company, or appointer, including costs and billing.
* Work closely with team members to plan and execute assignments, possibly managing cases, in line with procedures and regulations. Support may include:
o Providing training to junior staff.
o Managing Members Voluntary Liquidation from start to finish.
o Preparing and seeking approval for engagement letters and documents.
o Completing KPIs for managerial approval.
o Ensuring deadlines are met.
o Data input into internal systems.
o General case administration including billing.
o Members Voluntary Liquidation experience is preferred, with opportunities for skill development.
o Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Client and Project Management
* Understand client challenges and develop solutions with Partners/Directors.
* Handle pre-appointment matters and attend initial client meetings.
* Communicate with clients, analyze information, and advise on wind down scenarios.
* Collaborate on group reorganization projects.
Additional Responsibilities
* Assist with client onboarding and timely completion of CEAP.
* Manage project budgets, discuss overruns, and ensure profitability.
* Maintain communication with shareholders, directors, and interested parties, providing excellent client service.
* Coordinate with other departments.
* Monitor work progress and billing.
* Participate in marketing activities and training.
* Follow health and safety protocols.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Personal and Professional Qualities
* Experience in client handling.
* Background in Restructuring Advisory or Insolvency is advantageous but not essential; training provided.
* Strong organizational, time management, and commercial skills.
* Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
* Interest in promoting the service line internally and externally.
