About Positive Futures Positive Futures supports children, young people and adults with a learning disability, acquired brain injury or autism, as well as their families, across Northern Ireland. The Role As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to help people live as independently as possible and have choice and control over all aspects of their lives. This may include supporting people with domestic tasks, healthy meal preparation, managing medication and finances as independently as possible, accessing appointments, keeping in touch with family and friends, and participating in social, leisure, training, volunteering or employment opportunities where relevant. You will also support people to make informed choices, speak up for themselves, stay safe and healthy, and maintain their physical and emotional wellbeing. Personal care may be required where needed, always delivered with dignity and respect. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, using ICT systems appropriately, and working positively with colleagues, families, carers and other professionals.
