About the role
Join Ground Control Geotechnical Solutions and help deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll lead and support site investigations, analyse data, prepare reports, and liaise with clients to ensure high-quality project delivery.
What you’ll do
* Plan and supervise geotechnical site investigations (drilling, sampling, in-situ testing)
* Log soils/rocks to BS5930 and prepare factual reports
* Ensure HSE compliance across all site activities
* Support junior engineers and promote a culture of safety and collaboration
* Build strong client relationships and maintain project quality and timelines
What we’re looking for
* BSc/MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
* 2–5 years’ experience in ground investigation or geotechnical design
* Knowledge of UK geology, BS5930 & Eurocode 7
* Strong communication, report writing & data management skills
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Desirable Qualifications
* CSCS Card
* Working toward chartership
* Familiarity with HoleBASE SI/gINT
