Job Title: People Partner
As a People Partner, you will be responsible for providing HR operational support to Regional Directors and Area Managers, contributing to the implementation of the Region’s people plan.
You will be part of the People team, supporting the execution of the People Plan to enhance organizational effectiveness, engagement, and high performance through various initiatives.
You will represent the Retail People Team and manage projects across Retail and possibly the wider business, such as engagement surveys and shop closures.
What you will do
* Provide operational HR advice and guidance to Regional Stakeholders.
* Partner effectively with the Regional Director and Regional Operations Manager, offering coaching, training, support, and challenge.
* Assist in monitoring the performance and capability of Regional Operations Managers and Area Managers, identifying training or support needs.
* Implement organizational change activities with regional management teams.
* Support key programs aimed at cultural change and business performance improvements, such as Performance Development and Engagement Surveys.
* Prepare for Regional Employee Forum meetings, including presentations and agendas.
* Participate actively in the forums, addressing colleague concerns and driving action through Area Managers.
* Support planning for Regional Team Meetings to ensure clarity on regional plans and priorities.
* Collaborate with colleagues across HR to foster continuous improvement and build a strong HR team supporting the business.
Qualifications
* Ideally CIPD qualified and Degree educated; relevant experience also considered.
* Experience within an Ulrich business partner model and matrix organization.
* Strong communication and influencing skills with adaptable style.
* Capability to handle complex issues and make sound judgments under pressure.
* Proficiency in using data and insights for decision-making.
* Good commercial awareness.
* Effective planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
* Strong generalist HR skills.
* A current UK driving license is beneficial.
