Working Hours
* Tuesday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
* Wednesday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
* Thursday: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Applicants must also be willing to provide holiday cover for the existing caretaker when required.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and busy community centre in Worksop for a reliable and proactive Part-Time Maintenance Assistant.
This is a varied role that combines front-of-house reception duties with general caretaking and maintenance responsibilities.
The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the centre remains safe, welcoming, and well-presented for visitors, groups, and community events.

Key Responsibilities
* Greeting visitors and welcoming attendees to classes, sessions, and events
* Providing front-of-house reception support
* Clearing tables and assisting within the community café area
* Setting up rooms for events, including arranging tables and chairs
* Locking up and securing the building at the end of the day
* Carrying out basic maintenance and caretaking duties
* Completing minor decorating tasks and paint touch-ups
* Ensuring the centre remains clean, safe, and presentable
* Reporting any maintenance issues as required
Candidate Requirements
* Friendly and approachable with excellent customer service skills
* Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
* Practical and hands-on approach to general maintenance tasks
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Flexibility to cover additional hours during holiday periods
DBS Information
* Candidates who already hold a valid DBS check will be at an advantage. However, applications are also welcomed from individuals who are willing to undergo a DBS check if successful.
