Position Summary:
As a Team Leader at Taco Bell, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth and efficient restaurant operations during your shift. You will support the management team by motivating crew members, upholding brand standards, delivering excellent customer service, and assisting in training and development. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about food service, teamwork, and growing into a management role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach team members to ensure exceptional customer service and food quality
* Support the Shift Manager in achieving operational goals
* Manage shift activities including opening/closing procedures, food prep, inventory checks, and cleanliness
* Ensure compliance with Taco Bell standards in food safety, sanitation, and appearance
* Handle customer concerns in a professional, friendly, and solution-oriented manner
* Train new employees and provide ongoing feedback to team members
* Maintain a positive and productive team environment
* Assist with cash handling, deposits, and point-of-sale transactions
* Monitor food and labor costs and reduce waste through efficient practices
Qualifications:
* Minimum 6 months experience in food service or retail; leadership experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
