Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager specializing in Policies & Procedures for a 3-4 month contract, outside IR35, with a negotiable rate. The role is based in the South East with a hybrid working environment.
Company: A specialist contractor providing power solutions to the Data Centre sector.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement Health & Safety management systems, policies, and procedures.
* Report to the Health & Safety Director.
* Engage in systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Competencies:
* Strong knowledge of integrated management systems, policies, and procedures.
* CMIOSH qualification or working towards it.
* Organized with rapid information assimilation skills.
* Critical thinking, analytical skills, and high accuracy.
* Internal or Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (ESSENTIAL).
* Experience working in a construction environment (ESSENTIAL).
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all departments.
Requirements: EU work permit is required.
