In this role, you will lead and coordinate support for learners with EHCPs and additional needs, working closely with curriculum teams to help them achieve, progress and build confidence. You will monitor progress, ensure support plans are effectively implemented, oversee annual reviews, maintain accurate records, and communicate key updates with staff, families and local authorities. Working collaboratively with Learning Support and SEND teams, you will ensure smooth transitions, strong evidence gathering and high-quality support, while contributing to SEND priorities, staying informed on national guidance, and helping learners prepare for independent adulthood.
* Experience supporting SEND learners, ideally in a specialist or post‑16 setting.
* GCSE Maths and English at grade C/Level 2, or willingness to work towards them.
* Confident in assessing SEND learners' needs and tracking their progress.
* Strong understanding of EHCPs and experience working with young people who have them.
* Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and practical safeguarding experience in an education or support role.
