Position: Site Agent - Water
Location: Testwood
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum + package
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering essential projects on the Southern Water Framework. In this role, you will be responsible for setting out and quality control, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification, and to the highest standards.
Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll play a key part in the successful delivery of technically challenging water infrastructure projects, while maintaining strong records and quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities:
·Provide setting out and quality control services to ensure construction works meet specification.
·Maintain accurate site records, reports, and quality documentation.
·Ensure all works comply with CDM Regulations and company health & safety standards.
·Assist with preparation of construction programmes, method statements, action plans, and risk assessments.
·Carry out site checks to confirm works meet design and specification requirements.
·Liaise with client representatives to agree site measurements and maintain open communication.
·Assist with maintaining drawing files, registers, and site filing systems.
·Collaborate with the design team to ensure up-to-date information is followed on-site.
·Support the preparation of as-built and completion documentation.
·Take off quantities for measurement and procurement purposes.
·Promote and uphold excellent safety behaviours on-site, leading by example.
What We're Looking For:
·BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction (minimum requirement).
·Proficient in levelling and surveying, including use of total stations and automatic levels.
·Solid understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
·Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Desirable:
·First Aid at Work qualification.
·SSSTS certification.
·CSCS Supervisory card.
·EUSR SHEA Water certification.
