Overview
As the Council’s Property Records and Mapping Officer, you will work within the Property Team to support the local residents of Ipswich through managing the respective property records as well as preparing all requisite plans as required by the various teams within the council.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation that you will be in the office two days per week. The role is a full-time permanent position and as such you would be required to work 37 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining the council’s ownership records on our property database.
* Update the council’s property asset management system.
* Provide administrative and finance support to the Property team.
* Deal with enquiries from various sources including Council Officers, the public and Councillors.
* Preparation of plans for use in sales, leases, licences, acquisitions and right to buy valuations.
Skills and qualifications
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
* Competent user of IT.
* Be flexible together with good organisational skills.
* Able to prioritise own workload.
* Work within a team.
* Be customer focused
Hours and location
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 2 days per week working in the office). This is a full office/location-based role.
