The purpose of the role is to provide high-quality, person-centred support that meets the individuals' needs with physical, health, emotional and social needs. You will assist in the development and maintenance of their support plans as required, along with developing positive and engaging interactions. You will provide line management to a small group of the staff support team, developing their capability through demonstrating the right values and behaviours, mentoring staff and supporting their ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, ensuring their physical, health, emotional and social needs are met.
Assist in developing and maintaining individual support plans.
Mentor and develop a small team, fostering the right values and behaviours.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care or equivalent, with basic literacy and numeracy skills.
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum conditions.
* Experience in community-based projects and activities for individuals.
* Knowledge of working with families and their needs.
* Experience supporting and coaching staff, nurturing team development.
* Capacity to manage difficult and challenging situations while maintaining high care standards.

Working Pattern
Five days a week, flexibly scheduled. Weekend and evening work is part of the rota. Expected to work 1 in 2 Saturdays, with a replacement day off during the week.
