Job Description
Do you want to make a real, positive impact on the continuous professional development and education of Occupational Therapists? If your answer is yes, an opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapy Practice Manager to join the Adult Social Care Occupational Therapy Team.
You will be managing the strategic development, implementation and delivery of local and national priorities in relation to occupational therapy training and education. You will be responsible for overseeing budgets, risk reduction plans, prescription and authorisation of daily living equipment including minor and major adaptations and clinical supervision of staff.
We are looking for candidates who have:
 * A sound working knowledge and experience of the application of the Care Act, including Mental Capacity Assessment, Safeguarding and Care and Support Planning.
 * Experience of using a strengths-based approach, undertaking complex functional assessments, and overseeing the work of others.
