As an Administrator, you will support with the administrative duties around medical screening of Royal Air Force applicants.
You will join a large existing team and play a vital part in supporting with the administration and smooth-running of the process of recruiting appropriate talent to join the Armed Forces.
This is a fixed term contract until end of March 2027. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between home and our offices in Coventry.
What you'll be doing:
* Liaising with applicants, Armed Forces Careers Offices and Medical Experts - answering queries and assisting candidates through the medical aspects of their application
* Organising and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information
* Interacting with third party providers where appropriate, such as candidate, GPs, as part of medical process fulfilment
* Co-ordination of medical screening
* Reviewing letters, postal administration and scanning
* Answering the phone and responding to queries
Essential qualifications/skills/experience
* Previous administration experience is required
* Good IT skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Strong customer service, both face to face and over the telephone
* Ability to work using own initiative and within a team environment
* Confidence
Desirable qualifications/skills/experience
* An understanding of the military would be an advantage, but not essential
