Do you have experience as a Design Manager working in the building services industry? If yes, then this job is for you. I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Cardiff-based client who is looking to expand their design team. This exciting business manufactures a niche product and plays a vital role in the building services industry.
As a Design Manager, you will manage a team of CAD Engineers and oversee design processes from conception through to completion, liaising closely with Project Managers.
Role And Responsibilities
* Management of a team of 4 CAD Engineers.
* Overseeing design projects from conception to completion, working on multiple projects simultaneously in accordance with communication from Project Managers.
* Review technical documents to ensure design proposals and schematics are aligned with client requirements.
* Maintain a keen eye for detail in compliance with legislation changes to ensure design projects meet industry standards.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Experience working in a design position within a building services setting.
* The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Design Manager position and will have experience with people management.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously and should be able to balance their workload accordingly.
