The Role
An rare opportunity has arisen within ICST East Kilbride locality for a part-time Band 6 Community Physiotherapist. Covering East Kilbride and Strathaven, you will assess, set goals with, treat and plan discharge/onward referrals for patients.
You will support junior staff with clinical supervision and Turas, provide practice education for students, and link with your fellow B6 Physios and senior Physio for peer support and to lead your department in service improvements.
You must hold a full UK/EU/EEA driving license and have access to a car.

What we'll need you to bring
Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
1. Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
2. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
4. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
5. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
6. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
7. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
8. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Effective time management skills
10. Working knowledge of basic information technology

Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based in Primary Care Service within Hunter Health Centre East Kilbride.
The working pattern for this role is 0830-1630, days to be discussed
