THE ROLE:
You will manage a varied non:contentious private client caseload, drawing on your technical expertise and experience. You will also have the opportunity to undertake contentious probate matters with the option to develop a mixed contentious and non:contentious practice where appropriate. The balance of work can be tailored to your skills, experience and professional interests. You will be supported by a knowledgeable and well regarded team, with access to high quality supervision, ongoing professional development and clear opportunities for career advancement. This is a role with genuine scope to grow, refine your expertise and contribute meaningfully to a thriving private client department.
THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a Private Client Solicitor with at least three years' PQE, ideally having obtained the STEP Diploma. You will have proven experience managing your own caseload and a strong background in wills, probate, Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and trusts. Experience working with high net:worth individuals, estate planning matters and farming clients is highly desirable. You will work effectively both as part of a team and independently, be fully IT:literate and demonstrate excellent client care and interpersonal skills. You will be self motivated and eager to participate in business development activities.
