DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facility Operation
* Daily cleaning and deep cleaning when centres are quiet including outdoors i.e., litter picking, drains & leaves cleared, light gardening duties.
* Opening and closing, unlocking, and locking of car park gates, the building, and each room.
* Report any defects of building, furniture, fittings, and equipment to the Community Centre Co-Ordinator.
* Complete all daily pre-opening and closing checks as required and record on daily checklists.
* Complete statutory inspections for facilities, i.e., weekly fire alarm call points, monthly emergency lighting, legionella checks and fire safety checks first aid box checks, table and chair checks, AED checks etc and record as appropriate.
* Monitor cleaning supplies on site and report when low.
* Move furniture i.e., tables to other sites as and when needed using the company van.
* Complete any relevant training courses as requested by the Community Centre Co-Ordinator. i.e., fire safety regulations, Health and Safety regulations, emergency procedures and the rules for evacuating the building and other training needs.
* Act as relief cover for out of hours working as required to cover planned holiday or sickness.
Needed for the role.
· Be flexible as hours can be early morning to late night.
· Be able to work as part of a team and work on your own initiative.
· Be able to communicate and answer phone calls.
