This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent. You will be involved in the full asset lifecycle, from initial site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition, to leading a professional team through planning, construction, and ongoing asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers is key.
The role involves ownership of the full development and planning process from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication, negotiation skills, multi-tasking ability, and meeting tight deadlines.

Note: This role will be called Senior Acquisitions Consultant internally to align with company structure.
What you'll do
* Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals to build new stores.
* Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and manage due diligence processes.
* Manage planning application lifecycle from submission to approval and conditions discharge.
* Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
* Drive the full development and planning process from initial concept to completion.
* Manage real estate assets, including freehold and leasehold properties.
What you'll need
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
* Degree-level education (minimum 2:2), ideally in a relevant discipline.
* Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning.
* MRICS qualification (preferred).
* Strong negotiation skills and a well-established network.
* Solid understanding of commercial property law and legal procedures.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
