Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistant | Chesterfield (S41) | £100-£115 per day | Full Time | Start Date: 3rd November 2025

A well-established and nurturing alternative provision in Chesterfield (S41) is seeking committed and compassionate Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistants to join their dedicated team.

About the Role

* Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
* Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver personalised learning plans
* Contribute to behaviour management and therapeutic support strategies


About You

* Experience in SEN settings, alternative provision, PRUs, or youth support roles
* Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
* A calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach
* Confident working independently and as part of a team

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks. This setting is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
