About the Role As Finance Assistant, you will become an integral part of the accounts team, handling both client and office account responsibilities. Based in their Kingsbridge office with hybrid working options available after probation, you'll support financial operations across the firm, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate records and smooth financial processes. Finance Assistant Responsibilities * Client Account: * Perform daily banking operations including reconciliations * Prepare cheques for client transactions * Process bills according to established protocols * Respond to internal queries regarding ledger information * Support the annual Solicitors Accounts Rules audit process * Office Account: * Manage daily banking functions with accurate reconciliations * Contribute to monthly accounts pack preparation * Assist with annual audit requirements * Administer petty cash and credit card systems * Maintain creditors ledger with precision * Generate ad hoc financial reports as required Finance Assistant Requirements * AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification, semi-qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent practical experience * Proven experience within a busy accounts department * Strong Excel proficiency and analytical capabilities * Experience with Leap software advantageous but not essential * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy * Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively * Effective communication skills across all levels Benefits * Competitive salary DOE * 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays * Immediate start available for the right candidate * Plus so much more!
