Job Description:
Our client a British manufacturer of agricultural machinery is seeking a full time credit controller to join their team pending a successful interview.

1. £27,000 DOE

The role:
5. Take ownership of Credit Control, with a view to optimising cash flow and minimising bad debt risk, whilst building & maintaining excellent relationships with sales personnel and customers.
6. Input of data to the Sales ledger on the Epicor ERP system, including liaison with the Sales admin team to oversee the sales invoicing process.
7. Provide regular reports to the Management Accountant, Finance Director and others on a weekly and monthly basis as required.
8. Ensure compliance with credit insurance requirements.
9. Expand and develop knowledge of the Epicor ERP system.
10. Expand and develop knowledge of other Accounts department functions in order to provide assistance & support to other team members, and to be able to deputise for others when required.
Experience
11. Experience of credit control very desirable, but not necessarily essential for a highly motivated individual.
12. Experience in a substantial “real world” industrial or commercial environment would be very useful, as would experience with foreign currency.
13. Experience of other Accounts functions such as Accounts Payable.
14. Experience of using accounts software and Excel.
Requirements / Qualifications:
15. Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
16. GCSE or equivalent in English Language & Maths.
17. Progress towards a qualification such as AAT would be advantageous, but not essential.
