Are you a High Voltage Electrical Engineer with process manufacturing site experience?

Our client is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of wheat derivatives such as starches, sweeteners, proteins, and alcohol for major food and industrial sectors worldwide.
They seek an experienced Site Electrical Engineer with power generation experience to join their team, managing all electrical and control systems onsite.
The role involves ensuring the site's electrical/power requirements are met, developing safe systems of work, and supporting the maintenance team for optimal efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Performing Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties up to 11KV.
* Duty Holder for all LV & HV electrical systems.
* Managing operation and repair of large-scale CHP (21MW capacity).
* Reviewing and implementing electrical safety standards.
* Liaising with project teams and service providers.
* Overseeing HV and LV switchboards, transformers, UPS, power factor correction, variable speed drives (up to 1 MW).
* Fault diagnosis and developing solutions with the maintenance team.
* Supporting the CMMS Mainsim system development.
* Managing electrical inspections and documentation under DSEAR.
* Supporting mechanical maintenance with isolations and plant integration.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
* Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
* Current SAP or AP status, aiming for future Authorising Engineer role.
* Knowledge of electrical equipment and systems (protection, HV switchgear, generation plant, transformers, control systems).
* Experience in operational, maintenance, or construction environments, especially power generation.
* Fault diagnosis skills.
* Knowledge of electrical legislation.
