Job Description: Creative Classroom Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Creative Classroom Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. In this role, you will support students in their academic and personal growth, fostering a positive and empowering learning environment.
The Role:
1. As a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will be based in Gateshead and be present during all curriculum lessons in the classroom.
2. You will provide support to small groups of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
3. You will also offer one-to-one assistance to students who require personalised learning approaches.
4. We value collaboration and teamwork, and as a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with students, staff, and parents to create an inclusive and cooperative learning environment.
5. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in students' lives.

6. To be successful in this role, you must be eligible to work in the UK.
7. It is essential to have a current enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or be willing to obtain one.
8. We are looking for someone with a friendly, approachable, and patient attitude, serving as a positive role model for our students.
9. Resilience and adaptability are key qualities required, as you will encounter changing situations in this role.
Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
