This post is within a consultant led multidisciplinary team providing expert assessment and rehabilitation for adults aged 16-64 yrs with a neurological disability. The service has 12 beds dedicated to active rehabilitation.
This is a new post to support the team to deliver on the Scottish Major Trauma Pathway, which aims to improve rehabilitation for major trauma patients across Fife.
The inpatient rehabilitation programme seeks to provide a high standard of care and rehabilitation to people with a variety of neurological conditions with a particular emphasis on acquired brain injury which includes major trauma.
As part of a progressive multidisciplinary team the post holder will assist in the delivery of high quality programmes of rehabilitative care to meet the needs of individual patients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop their knowledge and skills in neuro rehabilitation
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
