About the Role:
Due to continued expansion, my client is seeking skilled and experienced MIG Welders to join their growing team based in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established and reputable company in the steel fabrication industry.
Working Hours:
1. Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
2. Friday: 07:30 – 13:30
3. Overtime available and encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
4. Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components
5. Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
6. Carry out steel fabrication and general engineering tasks
7. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
8. Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health & safety standards
9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
10. Fully conversant in MIG welding, steel fabrication, and general engineering practices
11. Ability to work from technical drawings
12. Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment
13. Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
14. Must be able to reliably commute to Bolton or be planning to relocate before starting work
Salary & Benefits:
15. Hourly Rate: £14.66 – £15.76 (depending on experience)
16. Permanent, full-time position
17. Free on-site parking
