Key Duties
Dispense Medications: Accurately dispense prescribed medications and provide advice on their use, side effects, and interactions.Clinical Advice: Offer expert clinical advice to customers on over-the-counter treatments, medications, and health concerns.Patient Safety: Ensure the safe and effective use of medicines, monitoring for potential drug interactions or Management: Oversee the management of stock levels for prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring the timely ordering and receiving of supplies.Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers, providing tailored support for their healthcare needs.Pharmacy Services: Deliver health services such as flu vaccinations, smoking cessation support, and medication Leadership: Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and optimal customer care.Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities comply with the latest health and safety regulations, ensuring the branch operates in line with industry standards.Training and Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on pharmaceutical best practices, legislation, and advancements in and Record-Keeping: Ensure that all patient and medication records are kept up to date, accurately reflecting dispensed medications and patient interactions.
