Job Title: Equipment Technician
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
Location: Castleford
Salary: £28,787.20
We’re looking for an Equipment / Tooling Technician who knows how to sweeten the deal when it comes to keeping our mouldboards, changeover equipment and sieves performing at their best. If you’re passionate about equipment reliability, production efficiency and continuous improvement as great as our Starmix, this is the role for you!

How you’ll contribute to the mix:

Your day-to-day will involve:
1. Preparing and managing mouldboards, sieves and changeover equipment to ensure lines are always ready
2. Monitoring equipment performance and supporting faster, more reliable changeovers
3. Carrying out audits, inspections and hygiene checks on tooling and equipment
4. Collecting,analysingandmaintainingdata on equipment performance and downtime
5. Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving activities across production

7. A good understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment performance
8. Strong communicationand teamwork skills
9. The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
10. Confidence using data,SAPand downtime reports to improve performance
