Tempest Jones are thrilled to be representing a long-established and highly successful firm of Financial Planners in Lancashire. This is an exciting time to join an already accomplished business that has an excellent reputation for providing support and guidance to long standing clients on their financial planning needs.
The opportunity is for an Independent Financial Adviser to join an enthusiastic and dynamic team and to inherit and service an existing bank of loyal clients based predominantly around Chorley and Clitheroe. You will look after clients' investment, pension, IHT and protection needs, handling mainly individual business.
There is absolutely no expectation or desire for this individual to undertake business development activities nor bring on new clients into this role. The focus will be on regular contact with clients, undertaking reviews, assessing their circumstances, taking action to mend portfolios as needed whilst maintaining trust and rapport along the way.
The successful candidate will have the support of a highly skilled and qualified administration and paraplanning team, thus freeing up their time to nurture client relationships and to conduct meetings which will mainly be face to face in client homes across Lancashire.
An employed package, competitive basic and retention bonus will be on offer for the successful candidate.
Essential criteria
Essential requirements are Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning as well as experience within a financial planning role.
Excellent communication skills are needed as are confidence and the ability to build relationships face to face in a professional and engaging way.
