Our client is a group ofpanies in the construction sector who are market leaders in their field. They have made recent acquisitions and have plans for continued growth. Due to these continued growth plans, the finance team is creating a new role for a Finance assistant to support the wider finance function. Your new role
1. Sales ledger invoicing.
2. Match, process and file high volumes of purchase invoices and payments to multiple suppliers.
3. Uploading of invoices to accounting software from supplier portals.
4. Check and reconcile supplier statements.
5. Raise credit queries.
6. Monitor accounts email boxes and process as necessary.
7. Respond to and resolve internal and external supplier enquiries.
8. Process employee expenses.
What you'll need to succeed
9. 5 GCSE’s – to include English and Maths.
10. Goodmunication skills.
11. Will have previous experience of the above responsibilities and be able to process high volumes, whilst maintaining accuracy.
12. Be proficient in excel.
13. Good attention to detail is essential with excellent organisational skills.
14. Experience of using a financial accounting package is desirable.
