An exciting opportunity has arisen for a stores person to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Raigmore Hospital.
The Cardiac Cath Lab is a busy, demanding and rewarding department in which to work, dealing with patents undergoing coronary angiograms / angioplasty and device implantation such as permanent pacemakers or ICDs. In addition we provide a Primary and rescue PCI service for those patients with STEMI as well as inpatient treatment for those with other acute coronary syndromes.
The post holder will be expected to work alongside another stores person colleague. The job entails store person responsibilities such as dealing with company representatives, ordering stock, stock control and updating consignment databases.
This vacancy demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have a systematic approach to working and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel. Your personal qualities should include a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within a team.
This is a part time post worked across Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Actual hours of work could be negotiated.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
