We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide support to our Hospital Director and Head of Clinical Services at The Berkshire Independent Hospital.
The role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual with exceptional Personal Assistant (PA) skills to provide a streamline service to the Hospital Director and the Senior Management Team at The Berkshire Independent Hospital. As well as general organisation skills the role includes diary management, organisation of meetings and minute taking.
The role requires utilisation of an in-house risk management and patient administration system, for which training will be provided. The role also includes the co-ordination of patient complaints, including logging on the system, and collating responses & complaint review meetings.
Working closely with the Hospital Director and Head of Clinical Services, the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the ongoing maintenance of the credentials of existing Consultants with practicing privileges. The role also includes liaising with Hospital Senior Leadership, Corporate Senior Leadership, and the local Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) Chair and MAC members.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Strong administrative experience
2. Minute-taking skills (essential)
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
4. Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
5. Adherence to high standards of confidentiality
6. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
7. The ability to work independently and to think ahead, planning accordingly
8. Excellent communication skills – written and oral
9. Time management skills with the ability to prioritise
