About The Role
The One Aftersales team is recruiting for an Automotive Technical Support Team Manager at Volkswagen Group UK. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Milton Keynes with a hybrid working arrangement.
What you could be doing:
* Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will manage a team of Technical Support Specialists, delivering brand and group targets through effective management of technical resources in collaboration with the Technical Service Centre (TSC) Manager and Customer Service Centre (CSC) management of escalated cases.
* Providing high-quality technical support and resolutions to our Group network (all 6 brands) via approved contact systems and software (DISS/ODIS), remote diagnosis, or on-site dealer visits, addressing technical inquiries.
* Taking ownership of information and guidance with a customer-centric approach while meeting global quality and response targets.
* Proactively driving case resolution through remote support or hands-on guidance, collaborating with the Customer Service Centre, Technical Service Centre, brands, factories, and the National Learning Centre to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Documenting lessons learned and addressing knowledge gaps to implement preventive measures.
* Ensuring effective and timely communication and resolutions are accessible to dealers via appropriate media platforms, including regional, European, and international presentations.
* Identifying and influencing process improvements to support dealers in determining optimal solutions for customers, ensuring efficient resolution through proactive communication and technology.
Requirements:
* Wide experience in vehicle repairs and network operations.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective information relay at all levels.
* Proven success in managing people and projects.
* Excellent customer handling skills.
