Centre Services Coordinator
Location: Possobilities, 74 Closeburn Street, G22 5ST (Disability Community Centre) & Pitstop Café Lomond Street
Hours: 35 hours/week, flexible, shift work,
Salary: £26,000-£28,000 depending on experience
Reports to: Senior Centre Manager

Role Summary
The Centre Services Coordinator ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the centre's physical operations, including the public café, room bookings, and general oversight of the building. This role is the backbone of the centre's hospitality and logistics, creating a welcoming and well-managed environment for all users.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee café operations, including stock, staffing, and customer service
* Coordinate setup for events, bookings and activities
* Monitor building maintenance needs and liaise with contractors
* Ensure health & safety and cleanliness standards are upheld
* Support front-of-house volunteers and staff
* Contribute to the charities business development
* Maintain systems for cash handling, supplies, and inventory
* Collaborate with other coordinators and manager to support programme delivery
* Key holder, opening and closing the centre within security policy requirements
Person Specification
Essential:
* Experience in hospitality, facilities, or customer service
* Adaptability for daily task changes as and when required
* Strong organisational, practical problem-solving skills
* Friendly and professional communication style
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond calmly under pressure
* Basic IT skills and confidence with word and excel
* Supervising including line managing staff
* Willingness to adapt role to the service needs of the organisation
* Ability to cover frontline staff during annual leave or sickness absence
Desirable:
* Experience in a community or charity setting
* Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards
* Fundraising including application to grants and funds
* Policy review, implementation and updates
* Working knowledge of Sage accounting or willingness to learn
